Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the eldest child out of 4. She was encouraged by her parents, dentist and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her interest in acting. This was in contrast her earlier ambition to pursue a career as a primateologist since she loved monkeys. There was an immediate rise for her to be a famous young actor. In 1998, after completing her education, she was selected to be a part of Jeunes Premiers which is a French television talent-scouting program that was sponsored by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to pursue a professional career as an actor. Tautou attended church and the Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but is now separating herself from these upbringings. In addition to her acting career she is also pursuing modeling. The model was of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she displayed a collection of photographs under the title Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera is turned on journalists who examined her during her rise to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's first big part, playing Amelie Poulain's main actor in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie poulain, earned her fame to the world. Amelie gained international attention for its box office success. It was also praised in award ceremonies all over the globe. It's the biggest French language film to ever be released in the US. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou went on to star in a variety of films, including British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
