Mary Marg Helgenberger is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was November 16, 1958. She began her acting career at the beginning of the 1980s and was initially noticed due to the role she played as Siobhan Rooney from 1982 to 1986 in the daytime show Ryan's Hope. The most famous role she has played was Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural police drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) as well as the TV film Immortality (2015). Vegas (present-day) was the sequel to the first. Helgenberger was also famous for his role as K.C. Koloski the character she played in ABC's series China Beach (1988-91) won her an Emmy Award 1990 for Outstanding actress in a Drama Series. She is the youngest of four kids. McCain finished her education through her school, the Phoenix Country Day School and Xavier College Preparatory an all-girl private Catholic high school. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in art history from Columbia University in 2007. In 2017 she joined The View's daytime talk show The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She earned 4 Daytime Emmy award nominations for her contributions. In her other ventures McCain has been a columnist for the Daily Mail newspaper after her three years at The View. McCain wrote four books. These included The Story of My Dad John McCain (2008) Dirty Sexy Politics (2010) America You Sexy Bitch : A Letter to Freedom along with Michael Ian Black (2012) as well as Bad Republican (2022).
