Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American actor from the United States. After her debut film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack participant in WarGames '83 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was a well-known member of the group. Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. She started her career in acting in the film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film with other actors equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her success in her first film she later appeared in the 1985 comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club is considered as being among the most memorable films of high school cinema. Even though it had an budget of just $1 million, the movie's profits exceeded $50 million. When she was working on this the first time on TV, her television debut came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. The show Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. She is also on X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film with her part being an appearance in a small part. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 for her performance. She also received the an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
